Confidence, or the lack of, is a surprisingly common condition in today´s society. The individual lacking in self confidence or self esteem often believes that everyone else around them is brimming with the personality that they crave! This is the misconception held by the sufferer of low confidence and low self esteem, and that is exactly what it is – a misconception.

When we begin to talk to other people it becomes apparent that the majority of us experience low self esteem or a lack of confidence in at least one part of our lives. Sometimes we can talk to our friends or family about it, sometimes we can overcome it all by ourselves, simply by challenging ourselves or facing our fears. More commonly though, we avoid the issues, ignore them, pretend they dont exist, or that we arent really interested in being different to how we are.

Only when the addicts come out in open about their problems can they be treated.

Activities: Various group activities are arranged from time to time to involve the addicts, so that they start developing a habit of taking initiative and doing something new on their own.
